What our clients are saying:
"Just a quick note to say thanks for a job so well done. Chalk one up for working hard on an account that didn't offer you anything except a future opportunity. I'll do what I can to make you and Pinnacle happy that you earned my business. If I can help you in any way to help bring others to Pinnacle, please let me know."

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
"After more than 10 years in the mortgage business, I still enjoy helping clients achieve the dream of home ownership. It is rewarding to see my clients through the closing on their first home with smiles on their face. Building relationships with my clients and finding the right loan to fit their needs has always been an integral part of the mortgage process for me. By doing this, I get the opportunity to work with many of them again on their next home loan. I want to make all of my clients a customer for life."

DELIVERING EFFECTIVE ADVICE
“I learned that customers are the No. 1 priority when I was a package car driver for a delivery company. I knew I had mastered the concept when customers were eager to greet me and helped unload my truck. That same philosophy has stuck with me throughout my 13-year mortgage career. I am so thankful to be a part of a firm that knows our clients are our top asset. I may not be delivering packages at the speed of sound anymore, but I am delivering sound and effective advice.”

AN HONORABLE GOAL
“My thoughts on what I do are simple; I like to help get people into homes. I’ve worked in the mortgage business for 28 years and each client is special to me. I’m proud of the team we have at Pinnacle and our ability to address each client individually and work to meet their needs in the best way we can. Home ownership is an honorable goal and I’m glad that I have a chance to be a part of the process.”

WE'RE NEIGHBORS
“I am a ‘homegrown Rutherford Countian’—born and raised in Rutherford County. It’s a joy to drive down the streets of my town and know that I’m helping fill those homes with owners. I’ve even been able to help people in my own subdivision purchase or refinance a home. When I help a client achieve their dream of homeownership, it’s more than a home that they get, it’s a community. I enjoy developing relationships with my clients and earning their confidence not only as a mortgage advisor, but also as a neighbor.”

NEVER GIVING UP
“I’ve learned from experience to never give up on home ownership for a client. A couple came to me after relocating to Murfreesboro for a new job. The couple had filed for bankruptcy the year before. We worked together to clean up and build their credit. After a year, we were able to get them approved on a great rate and they were buying a home. Their two children had never had a yard of their own to play in. Now they do.”

SMOOTH AND SEAMLESS
“I enjoy working for a company that cares so much about making the whole lending experience go as smoothly and seamless as possible. Not only can I help my client buy their first home or third, but I also can put them in touch with someone who can help with retirement accounts, second mortgages or even something as simple as a checking account. I have been a mortgage advisor for 14 years and love the flexibility that we have in our area to take wonderful care of our clients.”

IT'S ABOUT THE PEOPLE
"I get both personal and professional satisfaction from working with the people who come to us for help. One couple with a new baby on the way came to me in the midst of renovating their home. They needed a new mortgage and wanted to secure it before the baby was born, but challenges kept arising with the renovation process. They were crunched for time. As the baby's due date crept closer, I had a frantic husband and a nervous mother trying to prepare a house while completion kept being delayed. We were able to be innovative and find options to overcome obstacles and close despite the construction delays. My clients literally closed their loan and left for the hospital to deliver the baby on the same day!"

TRUST IS EARNED
“After 33 years in this business, I have earned the trust of many clients who continue to come back to me for their mortgage needs. I recently received a call from the son of a client who had been referred to a large national bank by his real estate agent. The scheduled closing date was six days away, and they were refusing to honor their original commitment to him. My assistant of 25 years was able to meet the closing date and everyone was happy.”

DEPTH OF SERVICES
“The Pinnacle difference lies in the depth of its professional mortgage services. A real estate agent who uses us regularly ran into a problem regarding mortgage insurance with another company the client had chosen. Having worked with us in the past, the agent called our underwriter, who was able to collect necessary documents, place the mortgage insurance with another company and close the loan by the next day. It made me proud of our expertise and ability to overcome obstacles within an incredibly short time window.”

TEAMWORK TO OVERCOME OBSTACLES
"We have a team at Pinnacle that knows the meaning of 'pitching in'. I worked with a first-time homebuyer who waited months for a builder to complete her house before receiving the news at the last minute that he would be unable to finish the house. It was the holiday season and she was nervous about not having a home for the holidays! She frantically withdrew her contract and had to switch to a new home-but the new contract was contingent on her closing in two weeks. We started from scratch on a new mortgage, reordering everything from the title to the appraisal. Because everyone worked together, we closed the loan in ten days, just in time for Christmas!"

KEYS TO THE FUTURE
“I love being able to help people get into a home they thought they could never afford or maximize their home-buying experience as a long-term investment for their children and grandchildren. A TEAM OF EXPERTS
"Working with the qualified team at Pinnacle allows us to deal with situations that most other organizations struggle with. I got a call one day from a man who had sold his own house and was trying to close on the mortgage to his new place. He started the loan application with another lender and waited and waited for approval. When he called me, he was on the verge of moving out of his sold house with nowhere to go! He asked if I could help with his emergency. Because of the expertise within our team, we knew exactly which documents to focus on and worked quickly and efficiently, closing the loan in two days. That can only happen when you work with a team of experts."

RE-DEFINING THE MORTGAGE EXPERIENCE
"Having our mortgage processors here and making decisions locally is a distinct advantage for our clients. Not long ago we lost a potential client when he decided it would be more convenient to finance through his realtor's mortgage company. I was very appreciative of the opportunity and offered our services to the client should he need anything in the future. The morning before the loan closing the client called and told me that the realtor's mortgage company had over promised and was not able to meet his closing date. Needless to say this was a huge problem for the homebuyer. We immediately had the loan package transferred to our office and had a closing package delivered the next morning for the loan closing. That's the advantage of having everything handled locally."

FINDING THE RIGHT SOLUTION
"One of the things I love about being a mortgage advisor at Pinnacle is the opportunity to help people find the right solution for their needs, particularly when we come up with something the client hadn't considered. One couple came in to apply for a mortgage on a new home. They already had a home they loved but thought they had to sell and downsize for financial reasons. After looking at their situation, we were able to refinance their existing mortgage, lower their payments and help them stay in a home they didn't want to leave."

THE PINNACLE HUSTLE
“Pinnacle represents the example of "team work". I had a client call me after his loan with another broker fell through. I received the call on a Wednesday. Working with my mortgage advisor assistant, I was able to submit a loan package by Friday – which is a quick turnaround by all measures. By Friday afternoon our underwriter had approved the loan to close the following week. It’s through hustle and passion that we are able to establish Pinnacle’s reputation of distinctive service and effective advice.”

THE "WOW" FACTOR
"I love to try to 'WOW' our clients. Probably the best example was the Arizona family that decided to finance elsewhere for their new home in Nashville. I was skeptical about whether they would be satisfied with their mortgage broker and asked the client to call me if something happened. Little did I know I would get a 5:30 p.m. call from a frantic wife whose family of five was packed up with the moving truck loaded when their mortgage broker called to decline their loan. I gathered the information I needed over the phone and came back that evening to get everything ready for processing. We were able to get the loan processed, approved, and funded the next day.
"Thankfully, not every experience is like this - but it's a great example of what we're trying to achieve for our clients."

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
“Buying a home is one of life’s most important decisions, and the mortgage process should not be a stressful part of becoming a homeowner. My goal is to educate clients about the process so they know exactly what to expect from start to finish. It’s wonderful to sit in a closing with a client and share their excitement. After 26 years in the financial business, I’ve learned that by focusing on the relationship rather than the transaction, you create clients for life.”

FULFILLING THE DREAM
"Over the past 15 years as a mortgage banker I have taken great pride in helping families and individuals fulfill the 'American Dream' of having a place to call home. I realize that it's an emotional time for many of my clients. My goal is to ensure those emotions are positive ones. I recently had a family who was very upset with another lender for not delivering what had been communicated. At the 11th hour when it looked like they would not be closing and getting the home of their dreams, they were referred me. Three days later we closed an FHA loan to purchase their new home. Their comments at closing summed it up, 'Why did we waste over 30 nail biting days with the other lender when all it took was three exceptionally smooth days with Pinnacle.'"

EXPERIENCE MATTERS
"I have spent over 20 years in mortgage banking, and personally helped thousands of people across Middle Tennessee with their mortgage needs. There is tremendous satisfaction in becoming someone’s trusted advisor. I enjoy the education process, explaining every detail along the way, so that last minute surprises are eliminated. Asking many questions is as important to me as answering questions. The end result is a mortgage structure that is tailor-made to the individual. Often times, buyers are unaware of the many options available to them. By working toward forming a relationship, rather than concentrating on a single transaction, my clients and I are able to develop a plan that meets not only their immediate needs but also future goals and objectives."

"I love making things easy for our clients. One couple was moving across country with their two small children and came to me quite nervous about the process. They had relocated before and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. The last thing I wanted them worrying about was their home loan. After all, they were under a lot of pressure with the stresses of moving their family and getting the kids settled in school - not to mention starting a new life. By partnering with their realtor, we were able to close worry-free from hundreds of miles away. The couple was so grateful that the process went smoothly and they didn’t have to deal with any issues that would have complicated their move. That’s why I’m in the mortgage business."

FINDING A WAY TO MAKE IT WORK
"When you don't have to live by rules of standardization that are typical in large institutions, you can be creative and find solutions that work for each client's circumstances. One of my clients was relocating to Nashville and wanted to buy his home before he could actually start his new job. For most lenders, this would not have been feasible, because it's 'outside the box.' I was able to customize a loan that allowed my client to close on his loan and move into his new home before he could actually start work here."

EDUCATING MY CLIENTS
"With nearly 15 years of experience in the financial services/mortgage industry, I like to educate my clients on what products are best for them. In the past few years mortgage products have been sold to the consumer without regard to their needs. We are now experiencing the ramification these acts. People where placed into products they couldn't afford or were not educated properly on what they were getting. I focus on my clients needs by educating them on the mortgage process and finding a product that fits them personally. I meet with a older client recently that was being offered a product by a competitor that could have put them in a dire financial situation in a few years. I educated them on what they were getting and offered a alternative. I feel I saved them from possibly losing their home where they have lived for the past 30 years."

ASK MY CLIENTS
"My favorite thing is hearing from my past clients. Recently I received a letter that said: 'Pinnacle's levels of consistent professionalism and friendliness were priceless. I had many questions and wanted to check the mortgage rate frequently, yet never felt I was being a bother. Although, my husband and I were not the only people in TN purchasing a home during the month of May. With the attention we received, we felt like we were. Our experience with both Mr. Winfree and his assistant, Ms. Lutz, was exceptional and we will be doing additional business with Pinnacle as well as referring others. THE "AFTER-HOURS" DIFFERENCE
"It was after five one evening and I was the last one in the office, getting ready to go home for the day, when the phone rang. Our closing attorney needed to make last-minute alterations to a loan package in order for the mortgage to go through. I stayed late that night to make the changes and ensure that all the details were complete. I didn't think much about it until several days later, when I happened to meet the client in an elevator. Not only did he recognize my name, but he was so grateful that we were there for him in a last-minute crunch. Making a difference for someone is one of the greatest aspects of my job."

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
"I recently had a client who had purchased a foreclosure and needed to move quickly. True to form, the bank that was selling the property was not concerned about the timeframe for my client. After much coaxing and prodding I was able to close the loan in 10 days. My client was impressed. She said she had never had a mortgage company work so hard and that I had made her feel like my only client. I feel proud to know that I make a difference."

MAKING DREAMS A REALITY
"Working with first-time homebuyers is always a treat. I remember watching a single mother tell her 5-year-old son that he was going to have his very own room after we helped her buy her first home. GOOD VIBES
"We recently worked with a couple who was relocating to Nashville. The couple found their mortgage company through a large online company. They were promised a great deal, low rate, low closing costs, etc. Hours before the scheduled closing, the mortgage company retracted the “approval” status and asked for more documentation. Their closing attorney recommended they call Pinnacle. We stayed late and worked to get them approved. After losing the business, the online mortgage company tried to persuade the couple by offering $1,500 dollars. Our client turned it down. The husband said he felt 'good vibes' from us from the start and would not be swayed."

JUST IN TIME MORTGAGE
"During my first week with Pinnacle, I was still figuring out what kind of company I had joined. That's when a couple came to us who needed to close on their home as soon as possible. The clients were renting when their landlord declared bankruptcy. They were notified that they needed to be out of the premises in one week. They were obviously stressed about all of the decisions they needed to make, but they knew they wanted to buy a home. They weren't sure that the loan on their new home could be closed in such a short time. Because of the great team at Pinnacle and the relationships with local attorneys and appraisers, our clients were homeowners by the end of the week. It gave me a great deal of satisfaction that our team was able to make the process such a positive experience for our clients. I'm happy to be at Pinnacle!"

LOCAL MATTERS
"It is important for the closings to go smoothly and error free. I strive to complete the closing packages accurately and have them to the closing agent in a timely manner, so they will have ample time to prepare, check for errors, and provide figures to the eagerly awaiting borrowers. Developing good working relationships with the closing agents is important to me. We all want the closings to be flawless and when I do what I can to assure this, the closing agents are appreciative and strive even more to do the same. Mutual respect is a big part of the picture. The closing agents also like the fact that the closing packages are prepared locally, rather than out of state by someone who does not even have knowledge of how our property tax year runs. If they are in a closing and need questions answered, we are accessible. They do not have to dial an out of state phone number and start entering options."

I LOVE MY JOB
"Working in the mortgage business you get to meet a lot of interesting people. I have worked with a wide variety of people---from professional musicians and major league baseball players to your average working Joe. There is one couple that I will never forget. They were first time homebuyers applying for a VA loan. The borrower was on VA disability for a terminal lung disease he had developed in the Navy. He was told that he didn’t have much longer to live. This was around Christmas time and the couple knew this was probably their last Christmas together and they wanted to spend it in their own home. We were able to complete the loan and close a week before Christmas. Helping people fulfill their dream of homeownership is why I love my job!"

THE POWER OF TEAMWORK
"When a colleague came to me with a last-minute opportunity to close a loan on a quick turn-around and asked for my help, I knew that we could do it. We combined our skill sets and buckled down, and were able to get the loan closed in four days. Because of our teamwork and communication skills, everything just fell into place, as we worked together to make the realtor and our client very happy."

THE "AFTER-HOURS" DIFFERENCE
"Mortgage loans are a big deal whether you are a first time homebuyer or a seasoned veteran. It takes a lot of communication and organizational skill to bring it all together and meet everyone's expectations. I enjoy the challenges that every day brings. Some deals are as smooth as silk, while others hit a few bumps on the way to closing, but they are always memorable experiences to those involved. It gives me a good feeling to help people through the process."

IT'S IN THE DETAILS
“There are a lot of steps in securing a mortgage. Everyday I get the opportunity to assist our clients, associates and investors and everyday there are new challenges. What I like about working at Pinnacle is that we’re constantly learning and updating the team on new developments or regulations. I focus on the details to ensure that the mortgage process goes smoothly for our clients in what could be a stressful time. I want to make that process immeasurably better than what our clients would have imagined.”

LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS
"Being in the mortgage business since 1990 I've worked with many first time homebuyers. It's very rewarding to help them into their first home but even more rewarding when they return a few years later ready to purchase their second one. I even had a client that sought me out after I came to Pinnacle from another company because they only wanted to work with me. For a client to do that, I feel truly blessed."

RELATIONSHIPS ARE THE KEY TO SUCCESS
"I have been in the banking/mortgage industry for the past 16 years with the majority being in mortgage. For the past 10 years I have enjoyed working with each client and helping them achieve their dream of homeownership. As we all know purchasing a home feels like one of the biggest steps we take in life. My goal is to ensure that I make the process as smooth as possible so they will remember this to be a positive experience. I feel that relationship building is the key to success."
