Pinnacle's Financial Strength
Recent bank failures have many of our clients asking - "How is Pinnacle doing?"
We're pleased to report that we are among the fastest-growing banks in the United States. Our earnings have been strong and consistent throughout our history. In fact, we are the only bank on Fortune's list of fastest growing companies (which considers revenue and earnings growth).
Pinnacle's disciplined credit practices put in place a conservative approach to underwriting that has resulted in no direct exposure in the subprime arena. Our credit quality has been excellent in comparison to banks that are struggling during this downturn. In fact, in a recent Tennessean article highlighting our performance, Jeff Davis, a bank analyst with FTN Midwest Securities, called our credit metrics "outstanding."
In fact, we’re the only Tennessee bank recognized among Sandler O’Neill’s Sm-All Stars. Sandler O’Neill combs the field of 574 publicly traded banks and chooses the nation’s 33 best performing small-cap firms based on growth, profitability, asset quality and capital strength.
Our performance is a tribute to the skill and long-term experience of our associates. Our approach of hiring only highly experienced bankers pays off in more difficult economic environments because it enables us to continue growing at a rapid rate while maintaining excellent asset quality.
For more information on our performance, check out our annual report found on our investor relations page.
